Mortal Kombat is an arcade game that achieved great success in the 90s. Nether Realm Studios and Midway Games develop this video game. The storyline sees various warriors from eighteen different realms pitted against each other in epic tournaments.
The Mortal Kombat film adaptation project was first carried out in 1995. Directed by Paul WS Anderson, the film managed to obtain a box office of 122 million USD worldwide. Two years later, in 1997, the sequel titled Mortal Kombat: Annihilation released for the first time.
Unfortunately, this sequel did not achieve success like the first film. Not only adapted to the big screen, but the Mortal Kombat video game also adapted into a web series that lasted about 9-12 minutes. This web series consisting of two seasons, was first released on the YouTube portal in 2011 under the title Mortal Kombat: Legacy.
